Brandon & Byshottles Parish Archive was started by John Kitching
in 1994 to collect and establish a photographic record of the Brandon
Area which is contained in the North East of England County Durham
John Kitching now heads a team that formed the Durham Miners Heritage
Group whose main aims is to educate and display memorabilia from our
Industrial Heritage this website was created by his brother Ronald Kitching
who has also been involved in various projects throughout the years
